Despite the really bad reference to a Cole Porter Song in this pos title, I would like to share a couple of pretty high level blogging resources with you. Del.icio.us likely started as one of those tools that a programmer created because they wanted to do something in their spare time that was cool. And De.lirio.us pretty much looks like a knock off of del.icio.us. Well, what we have now has become a key component in what is being called social bookmarking. The idea behind this concept is that you can gather, as you likely do already, bookmarks on various topics but share them with the world instead of just collecting them on your browser. Again, on the surface, that's nice, but, why would I do that.

Here is one very powerful use for this tool. I surf the net looking for great content on the subject of - Uses for Blogs. (Now, this is something I write about and know my readers want to know more about) I bookmark some great sites and I bookmark every post I ever wrote on the subject. This collection of bookmarks, a veritable goldmine of info on a specific subject, is now an RSS feed and can become a part of hundreds of other blogger's social bookmark system, sending me some new traffic and subscribers. These sites have a very geek (and I mean that as a term of endearment) developed look to them but you should try to muddle through and find more uses for this tool. It does a lot more than I have explained here. From Delicious site:
