TypePad and Text Ads

You TypePad users may notice a new link on the Account Setting tab of your Control Panel.

That new link is "earnings" It looks like the long anticipated ability to display text ads ala AdSense has finally come about for TypePad users. The ad network is Kanoodle and you much sign-up for an account with Kanoodle to start displaying ads that look like this.

Once you follow the TypePad instructions for creating a TypeList or editing the TypeTags for custom template users your ads will start displaying in about 48 hours.

Blog reades aren't known for clicking on these types of ads but it can be a way to pay for your TypePad hosting account.
