Why Don't IT Managers Blog?

Here's an interesting article that describes how IT companies are not reaching out to readers with blogs. A bit ironic really.

The creators of much of the technology that drives the blogosphere can't figure out how to use it.

This is not really so odd though if you look throughout history about why something catches on. The technologies that heat up the fastest are those that end up being used for something other than what they were intended. Many times the very creators of the technology are left behind. This might be a good spot to recommend 2 books: The Tipping Point and Freakonomics.
